Support IDS and help us change our world

IDS improves people's lives through our cutting edge research, teaching and communication. We exist to bring the new analysis to global development issues that poor and vulnerable people depend on in order for their lives to be improved. The knowledge we generate and our Alumni play a significant role in making the world a better place.

We are renowned for our innovative and in-depth approach to research, our high quality teaching and as a global knowledge hub that transforms peoples' lives through our groundbreaking work.

How you can help

We are a registered charity with no guaranteed core funding, so philanthropic support is essential for us to continue our pioneering and influential work.

Any donations to the IDS General Fund will help us towards our vision of equal and sustainable societies, locally and globally, where everyone can live secure, fulfilling lives, free from poverty and injustice.

Any donations to the IDS Scholarship Fund will only be used to support outstanding candidates to study at IDS who might not otherwise be able to do so.
