Support the IDS scholarship fund

Supporting today's scholars is an investment in tomorrow's leaders who will be uniquely equipped to bring about transformations towards reducing inequalities, accelerating sustainability and building inclusive and secure societies.

Why we need a Scholarship Fund

For some of our most gifted applicants, the course fees, and associated costs of travelling to IDS and living in the UK, is prohibitive. The loss of such talent, of the opportunity to educate and collaborate with those who can make a difference in some of the most challenging corners of the globe, is a loss to us all and to our collective future.

Our Scholarship Fund is designed to help these students meet these costs and allow them the chance to study at IDS. Please consider making a gift to the IDS Scholarship Fund and help someone with great potential to realise their dreams and to contribute to building a better world.

Every contribution is a gift to a future scholar

Postgraduate studies have been central to IDS for nearly 50 years. In the global context of reduced public funding for higher education we are more dependent than ever on the generosity and support of our alumni, friends and donors to help us make sure that the best and brightest students realise their future potential. A gift to the Scholarship Fund could make a real difference not only to individual students, but also to the countless others whom they will go on to help.
