IDS Alumni Reunion 2009
Participants came far and wide to attend the Reunion held on 29 and 30 June. Alumni came from Mexico, USA, China, Greece, Ireland, South Africa, Uganda, and the Philippines. The reunion's theme Development in a Changing Landscape encompassed important current issues: the future of development, climate change, the global financial crisis, the role of the UN and the future role of alumni in IDS' emerging strategy. Alex Shankland and Tomoo Machibe, MP20 Reunion
This summer it was 10 years since MP20 graduated. Tomoo Machiba and Alex Shankland recently got back in touch after a long while, and hit on the idea of a reunion. Paula in the Alumni Office helped them to track down fellow MP20s with whom they had lost touch.
Below is the extensive programme of seminars and discussions. The full report of the event will be here soon.

IDS Alumni Reunion 2005
The Fourth Alumni Reunion took place at IDS from Thursday 14 to Saturday 16 April 2005. More than fifty alumni took part (some travelling half way round the globe to be with us), along with some “friends” of IDS, IDS staff and students. We've had lots of positive feedback, especially from alumni who appreciated the opportunity to revisit IDS and reconnect with old friends as well as to make new acquaintances – and it seems a good time was had by all.
