Revenue Impact Analysis of Angola's Integration into the SADC Free Trade Area
The aim of this study is to forecast the effects of Angola's integration into the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Free Trade Area and into a full SADC Customs Union on the country's indirect tax revenue. The analytical framework developed for this purpose is a theory-grounded dynamic partial equilibrium trade simulation model. The dynamic simulation analysis draws upon disaggregated historical trade flow data by origin at the HS 8-digit level.
