Participation Resource Centre
The Participation Resource Centre, comprising the joint collection of the IDS Participation, Power and Social Change Team and the International Institute for Environment and Development, provides public access to over 5,000 practical and analytical books, documents, journals and videos relating to participatory approaches to development, citizenship, rights, and governance. The Centre’s database can be searched online, providing links and sources, and we operate a limited document delivery service for requests from the South. We are open every weekday and visitors are welcome.
What does PRC offer?
Walk-in resource centre - feel free to visit if you are able, you are always welcome. Open Monday to Friday, from 09.30 to 17.00, please ring +44 (0) 1273 678690 to let us know you are coming.
Online database – use the simple or advanced search facility to find resources in the PRC, including books, documents, journals and videos.
Newsletter - Free, regular e-mail bulletin of the Participation, Power and Social Change Team at IDS. Keep up-to-date with the team's current activities.
