Business and Development Seminar Series

Each term IDS' Globalisation team hosts a seminar series on Business and Development. The spring/summer term series is jointly hosted with the Climate Change team and will focus on the hot topic of 'Business Decisions: What Opportunities and Challenges Arise from Climate Policy?'
Taking place in March and May on Tuesday lunchtimes from 13.00 to 14.30 in the IDS Convening Space, the seminars are open to all. For more information, please contact Vivienne Benson.
Write-ups and audio recordings of the seminars, along with short interviews with each of the speakers, will be available from this page after each seminar.

About the Globalisation team
The seminars are hosted by the Globalisation team, which carries out research and policy work aimed at promoting sustainable economic growth to reduce poverty. The role of business and development, including private global governance and inclusive business strategies, will be one of the team's key areas of work over the coming months.
Through the seminar series, the Globalisation team aims to broaden its knowledge about the role of business and development. The team hopes attendees will find the presentations and discussions stimulating and informative.
