Bangladesh Alumni Reunion 2009

Alumni Reunion Bangladesh, 9 March
Mamunur Rahman (MA20), hosted a reunion in Dhaka. The agenda for the meeting was to discuss strengthening the alumni network, future collaboration with IDS and participation in the future IDS strategy. Mokhlesur Rahman (MAP02), Head of Centre for Natural Resource Studies (CNRS), gave a presentation on: ‘Adaptive agriculture in flashflood zone of Bangladesh: Practical solutions to reduce/avoid climate induced risks’. Other participants included economist and IDS visiting fellow Professor Wahiuddin Mahmud and Hilary Standing, Fellow of IDS, who discussed the present and future work at IDS.
