Lawrence Haddad, Director of the Institute of Development Studies and co-editor of the latest IDS Bulletin ‘Lifting the Curse: Overcoming Persistent Undernutrition in India’. We asked him why India’s strong economic growth is failing to improve levels of nutrition within the country.
Miniva Chibuye, Coordinator for the Social Conditions Programme at the Jesuit Centre for Theological Reflection in Zambia, about seasonality and hunger. Miniva recently visited IDS to attend the Seasonality Revisited conference organised by the Future Agricultures and the Centre for Social Protection. We asked her how seasonality affects hunger in Zambia.
