Neil McCulloch, a research fellow at the Institute of Development Studies, about what policies could help developing countries affected by the Global Financial Crisis. Neil McCulloch is co-editor of the latest IDS Bulletin ‘Policy Responses to the Global Financial Crisis'.
Ahmed Shide, Minister of Finance and Economic Development in Ethiopia, about whether Ethiopia has been affected by the Financial Crisis. Ahmed Shide is an IDS alumni and recently visited the UK to attend a conference on Managing Risk in Africa. We asked Ahmed about the impacts of the glogal financial crisis in his country and how a stable investment climate could be created to attract investment in sub-Saharan Africa.
