We are seeking a Resident Warden of the IDS building to play a key role in ensuring the safety, security and comfort of residents, staff, students and visitors, and during evenings and weekends when no other members of staff are formally on duty. The IDS flat will be provided as a place of residence for this post holder.
The Resident Warden has specific duties for the reception of guests, the organisation of breakfasts for them at weekends and for the maintenance of security, first aid and health & safety for these guests whilst resident.
This role is to work 7.5 hours per week on weekdays between 8.30pm and 10pm. This role is also required to be on-call during during evenings and weekends when no other members of staff are formally on duty. During these periods the Resident Warden will need to be contactable by mobile phone. If called to duty (e.g. receiving visitors arriving out of office hours) whilst on-call, the post holder will receive additional payments.

Salary: IDS Grade 2.1 £14,841 pro rata (FTE).
Actual salary £3,180 per annum gross. Monthly pay will be £265 gross. Accommodation in the IDS flat is provided as part of this role and there will be a monthly deduction of £214.83 to cover accommodation cost
