Biography
Becky Mitchell is the programme manager for the conflict, violence and development cluster. As well as providing financial and project management for the projects listed below she is also involved in research of her own. Most recently Becky conducted a scoping study for World Vision UK investigating current policies and priorities within UK government and NGOs for maternal, newborn and child health in fragile contexts. She has also conducted primary research for the Gates Foundation investigating the uptake of a centrally controlled medication distribution programme in Northern Uganda. Becky’s thematic interests are within conflict, health, women and children, and the influences of health seeking behaviour. Her geographical expertise lie within Sub-Saharan Africa.
