Biography

Ewan has five years experience carrying out and communicating research, with expertise in governance, decentralization and natural resource management. He has designed and conducted studies using multiple methods, including ethnography, systematic reviews and GIS. He has also developed strategic research communications to reach diverse audiences. Ewan has two years experience living and working in Senegal.

Ewan is currently Communications Officer at IDS, where he works with the Vulnerability and Poverty Reduction and Governance research teams. He holds an MA in Geography and a BSci in Environmental Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA.
