Dr Noshua Watson is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Development Studies in the Globalisation Team, specialising in business and development.

She is an organisational economist by training and her research is on the role of the private sector in development, including private funding of aid, private provision of basic services, corporate philanthropy, corporate social responsibility and measuring CSR performance.

The Development Studies Learning Partnership under the BRICS Initiative in 2011, enables collaborative learning between traditional and emerging actors in development, be they academics, researchers, practitioners or policy-makers.
