Reforming the International Financial System: Narratives from the South
The crisis sparked calls to reform the international financial system, and in particular the Bretton Woods institutions, but to achieve this there must be a better understanding of how policymakers across the developing world view the crisis. This project will map how the financial crisis is shifting existing geopolitical relationships by evaluating how two groups – the new large G20 players and non-G20 developing countries – characterise the current crisis and how this affects their approach to solutions.
