"Development and social change are greatly enhanced by the availability, accessibility and use of research and information"
About Us
We believe that development and social change are greatly enhanced by the availability, accessibility and use of research and information.
Previously known as the Strategic Learning Initiative (SLI), the Impact and Learning Team (ILT) supports development actors who share this belief, particularly those within information and knowledge based programmes.
We do this by encouraging outcomes-based thinking, facilitating learning and innovation, developing capacity, and sharing critical analysis and examples of good practice. We take an inter-disciplinary approach blending Capacity Development, Research, Marketing and Monitoring and Evaluation.
The ILT is based at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) within the IDS Knowledge Services, and is funded by the Department for International Development through the Mobilising Knowledge for Development Programme.
For general enquiries please contact Sunder Mahendra, ILT Research and Marketing Convenor
