Biography
Sue Unsworth is a development practitioner with extensive experience of designing and managing bilateral aid programmes. As DFID’s Chief Governance Adviser she was one of the main initiators of the ‘Drivers of Change’ programme, and the author of ‘Better Government for Poverty Reduction: more effective partnerships for change’ (DFID 2003). She is now a Research Associate at IDS and Dissemination Adviser for the Centre for the Future State, where her remit is to help make current research on governance issues accessible and relevant to policymakers. Sue is also a member of the Board and Council of the Overseas Development Institute, and a Principal of The Policy Practice.Selected Projects
