Jessica Meeker - Nutrition Convenor
Jessica is a Public Health Nutritionist (LSHTM) with research interests in chronic undernutrition, micronutrient deficiencies and nutrition related chronic diseases. She works as a Nutrition Convenor co-ordinating a number of projects with a focus on research uptake and communications, stakeholder engagement and policy influence. She is also the project lead for work packages 1, 7 and 8 of the Irish Aid funded AgriDiet RPC.
Before joining IDS, Jessica worked in the Policy and Advocacy department for Save the Children UK and at the Centre for International Health and Development, UCL where she worked on developing a competency framework for staff working in emergency settings.
