Sarabe Chan graduated from IDS with an MA in Poverty and Development under the Chevening Scholarship. Currently based in Myanmar working on social protection advocacy and partnership development, Sarabe is also passionate about how social innovation can improve the lives of people.

Originally from Hong Kong, Sarabe has worked in China for Habitat for Humanity coordinating rural housing and volunteer projects, and has initiated basic education projects in Cambodia, Nepal and Mexico. She got her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Hong Kong, majoring in Spanish and Comparative Literature.
