Gender, Conflict and Development. Volume 1: Overview

This report examines how gender relations are affected in the different phases of an armed conflict, and which strategies can be pursued to enhance women’s bargaining power in decision-making processes in conflict and peace negotiations. It shows how the economic, social and psychological effects of conflict differ by gender.
