Pathways to Equitable Food Systems

The launch of Pathways to Equitable Food Systems, a new report by IDS.

The report examines the extent to which power imbalances have resulted in certain groups being disadvantaged by unjust and inequitable food systems, based on evidence from the past 10 years on topics such as corporate influence on food systems and agri-food science and technology to rural livelihoods and nutrition security.

The event included a presentation of the new Committee on World Food Security (CFS) High Level Panel of Experts report on Reducing Inequalities for Food Security and Nutrition.

Speakers explored the challenges of our global food systems and identify how we can move to a more equitable, justice-based food system.
