Kim Frost joined the University of London in 2003 as Head of HR and was appointed University Secretary and Director of Human Resources in January 2017. Prior to this, Kim worked in HR in the engineering sector and then for the Civil Service, where he specialised in areas including recruitment and appraisal policy for the Department for Work and Pensions.

He was Chair of the Universities Human Resources M25 group between 2010 and 2014 and became UHR National Chair for two years until 2016. Kim writes and blogs regularly on HR topics and was a judge of the Guardian Higher Education awards in 2016 and 2017.

Kim chairs the Remuneration Committees and sits on the RARC.
