Maddy received her Masters in Power, Participation, and Social Change through the Institute of Development Studies in 2021/2022. Her dissertation focused on a micro-organisation providing food provision in Moulsecoomb, Bevendean, and Bates Estate: the Very Local Food Hubs CIC (VLFH)
After a couple years at Save the Children International, Maddy is back at the Institute of Development Studies as a Project Assistant, sitting in the APM accredited Project Management Unit.
Outside of work, Maddy remains involved with the Very Local Food Hubs (VLFH) as a Director and volunteer. Her role in the organisation focuses on community research and engagement with local academic communities.
