Neil Ferguson

Senior Researcher at ISDC

Dr Neil T. N. Ferguson is a Senior Researcher at the International Security and Development Center (ISDC). He earned his PhD in economics, studying the effects of interlinkages between violent actors during civil wars on conflict intensity in 2013. Since then, he has held research positions at the German Institute for Economic Research, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute and ISDC. His current research interests cover a range of experimental and quasi-experimental analyses on how people behave and interact towards each other in complex and violent environments. He has on-going research interests in Ethiopia, India, Jordan, Kenya and Lebanon.
