This week the Matasa Fellows Network is launching a call for young African researchers to apply to become a fellow. The chosen theme of this year’s fellowship is Youth Employment and Private Sector Growth in Africa.
Samir Khan from the Mastercard Foundation reflects on the first meeting of the Matasa Fellows Network and it's ultimate goal to make a contribution to policy discussions about youth employment within countries and across Africa.
This newly launched Matasa Fellows Network will develop cohorts of African researchers with the skills and commitment to bring research into policy processes that address the challenges of young people and employment in Africa.
