Civil society and the BRICS

The Rising Powers in International Development Programme is looking at the growing role of civil society from the BRICS countries in the field of international development cooperation.

This thematic study is working with NGOs and networks across the BRICS to synthesise ongoing civil society debates about these countries’ growing global role, as well as identifying key challenges and opportunities for engagement and issues of policy innovation, accountability, and social inclusion/sustainability.
