This technical annexe accompanies two papers that together form the Better Assistance in Crises (BASIC) Research targeting case study for Ethiopia (Merttens et al. 2025a, 2025b). It contains supplementary detail on data and methods (Annexe A, Annexe B, and Annexe C), as well as a bespoke set of welfare analyses (Annexe D), plus supplementary material (Annexe E), which underpin and support the analysis and findings presented in the two papers.
