Highlighting Human Rights Violations: The Mock Tribunal on Abortion Rights in Kenya

In Kenya, rates of unsafe abortions are very high and there is a growing national debate about the consequences and solutions.

This article describes an attempt to foster dialogue among concerned citizens and healthcare providers through the approach of a mock tribunal before a panel of ‘judges’, with evidence from women who have undergone unsafe abortions.
