Negotiating Skills Manual: Market Access in an Economic Partnership Agreement

This Manual has been produced as part of a training programme being organised by the EU– ACP Project Management Unit1 with technical support from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), to provide a transfer of negotiating skills.

It aims specifically to develop skills of the [ACP] technical support teams in preparing for negotiations on specific issues and through negotiation simulation exercises. It will also provide the lead negotiators with enhanced negotiating skills and a greater understanding of the dynamics of working with technical support teams.
