IDS is home to more than 200 staff and 300 students at any one time. But the IDS community extends far beyond, encompassing an extensive global network of more than 360 partners, 3,300 alumni and hundreds of former staff.
How we are organised
As an independent charity, IDS is governed by a Board of Trustees, who are responsible for agreeing our overall strategy, setting policy, monitoring performance and promoting the interests of the Institute.
The Strategic Leadership Group is the executive decision-making body of the Institute.
Our 200 staff comprise thirteen thematic research and knowledge Clusters and Teams working alongside communications, engagement, and operations staff.
