Eugénie Ribault

Eugénie is studying gender inequalities in Francophone African tax systems. Specifically, she aims to analyse gender inequalities in tax policy and administration at the level of its organisation and actions. Her research focuses on low-income countries with large informal economies. She is supervised by Max Gallien, Sohela Nazneen and Vanessa van den Boogaard.

Before joining IDS, Eugénie worked as a unit coordinator for Domestic Resources Mobilisation (DRM) at Expertise France (the French public agency for technical cooperation projects) and as a gender focal point for DRM-related projects, also at Expertise France. Eugénie is currently working as a researcher on the Gender Equality in Taxation (GET) project implemented by Expertise France.

Eugénie holds a Bachelor in Economics, a MA in Economic Analysis of Development and a MA in Analysis of Development Projects from Université Clermont-Auvergne.
