Researcher

Aurin is a Researcher with the Knowledge for Development and Diplomacy (K4DD) program. Prior to joining K4DD as a Researcher, she worked as a Knowledge Officer for the COVID-19 Learning, Evidence and Research Programme for Bangladesh (CLEAR) at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) between 2021 and 2024. She provided research and project coordination support with a focus on research uptake, stakeholder engagement and policy influence. Aurin has more than 10 years of experience working in the development sector of Bangladesh.

Before joining IDS, Aurin has worked across different streams of the development sectors, from education, youth skills development, and migration, among others. Aurin has been an STC with the World Bank Bangladesh Country Office as part of their Education Team, working in the skills development sub-sector. She has also worked for the International Labour Organisation (ILO) as a National Program Officer and as a National Consultant. She has served as a Policy Analyst for IID- a policy research institute in Bangladesh since 2012, with a two-year study leave for completing her Master’s.

Aurin holds a Master of Public Policy Degree from the Australian National University with an Endeavour Scholarship and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the BRAC University, Bangladesh.
