Jigyasa is a development professional with experience in policy advocacy, media advocacy, media relations, and journalism.
She has worked as a journalist for major news organisations in India including reporting for independent news media outlets. Her reporting includes election coverage, anti-CAA demonstrations, climate protests and mobilisation of women during protests in India. She has also worked as a misinformation specialist for Reuters. As a researcher in defence events and development field, she has worked across private sector, academic sector and not-for-profits.
At IDS, Jigyasa is based in the Communications and Engagement Team (CET) working on External Affairs.
Jigyasa is an IDS alumni. She completed her Masters in Governance and Public Policy in 2023.
