Sunisha joined IDS in January 2021 as a postgraduate researcher focused on maternal health inequities in Nepal. Sunisha is part of the Health and Nutrition Cluster and her research is being supervised by Hayley MacGregor.

Her research aims to explore maternal health needs, access issues and solving health care needs in rural Nepal with a focus on context and community participation. She also aims to contribute towards participatory methodologies enabling community engagement to address other enduring health issues more broadly.
