eModule on Gender and Trade

A specialised online training module (eModule) was designed and delivered on gender and trade for the Ministry of Commerce, Pakistan.

The objective was to strengthen its ability to bring gender responsive policy reforms through the provision of training on conceptual issues on gender and gender mainstreaming in policy; case studies covering international best practices and challenges faced by Pakistani women; and, data analysis on the impact of trade on gender inequalities, and for gender responsive trade policy formulation. The eModule comprised of a series of recorded lectures by experts at IDS and UKTPO together with additional course materials delivered through an online learning platform.
