Improving Clean and Renewable Energy in Tanzania

This K4DD Rapid Evidence Review assesses Tanzania’s energy sector and focuses on opportunities, challenges, and lessons for the promotion of clean energy.

It draws on the experience of low and middle-income countries similar to Tanzania. In Tanzania, it focuses on lessons learned from various small-scale initiatives that promote the use and production of clean and renewable energy.

The review draws on academic articles, grey literature and evaluation reports from development organisations working in Tanzania.
