To commemorate the 50th anniversary of IDS this event will discuss the Sustainable Development Goals, how they can be effectively implemented in Brazil and whether they have set the agenda for a new era of development?

The event is organised by the IDS Brazil Alumni Ambassador James Allen in partnership with Cebrap. It is being held as part of a series of IDS Alumni events to mark IDS’ 50th anniversary year. The findings from the event will be discussed in a panel at the IDS 50th Anniversary Conference ‘States, Markets and Society‘ in July.
