ACET – Learning Partnerships for increased policy uptake

IDS is working with the African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET) to integrate an accompanied learning partnership as part of their GIZ-funded “Country Economic Transformation Outlook” (CETO) pilot in Ghana, Kenya and Zambia. The learning collaboration aims to strengthen partnership for increased policy uptake.

IDS is working with ACET and two national think tanks, ISSER in Ghana and ZIPAR in Zambia along with their respective national government partners to explore and strengthen the existing partnerships and to convene a wider cross-peer learning platform.

The learning collaboration aims to strengthen partnership for increased policy uptake.

IDS is working with ACET and two national think tanks, ISSER in Ghana and ZIPAR in Zambia along with their respective national government partners to explore and strengthen the existing partnerships and to convene a wider cross-peer learning platform. IDS is involved as a partner in this project, bringing collaborative learning expertise and serving as a facilitator, coach, and documenter of lessons.

The project involves five in-person workshops and two online workshops as well as the development of learning tools.

The desired outcomes are: Improved policy advisory capacity of African policy institutes leading to knowledge-to-policy uptake; and strengthened partnerships between African policy institutes.
