Many climate compatible planning methodologies have been developed and are in use across the world. But as yet, there is no comprehensive way for decision-makers to tell which methodologies may be most appropriate to their interests and local circumstances.
This project will consider a range of donor, private sector, NGO and country-led methodologies for climate compatible development strategy building and planning. It aims to close the information gap and enable decision-makers in developing countries to select more appropriate methodologies for their needs.
Key outputs expected from the study include an analytical report comparing existing methodologies, a research paper suitable for journal publication and some simple, user-orientated guidance for developing country decision-makers.
