Project

International Climate Fund: Enhancing Capacity to Deliver on Gender

A partnership between Coffey, IDS and RICARDO AEA has been formed to improve mainstreaming and targeting of women and girls in the International Climate Fund.

The consortium consists of a core team who will work closely with DFID, DEC and Defra providing targeted expertise on improved gender programming research, lessons learned, best practise and impact.

DFID is committed to delivering benefits for women and girls. However, gender and climate change is a relatively new area, and does not have the significant wealth of intellectual resources to draw as do sectors such as heath or education.
