Trade Between South Africa and Europe: Future Prospects and Policy Choices

Published on 1 January 1995

This paper reviews the bilateral trade policy options for South Africa and the EU in the context of current and prospective future flows.

It argues that past isolation has left South Africa discriminated against in the EU market and analyses the implications of the principal options for removing this discrimination.
