This seminar looks at a case study of aquaculture production systems in northern Vietnam and the power relationships in food systems that lead to poverty, poor health and ecological degradation.

The presenters analyse power relationships between the national government, local governments, aquaculture farmers, and workers on aquaculture farms, and examine how they influence livelihood options, economic vulnerability, socio-economic and health risks, and local environmental sustainability.

This seminar is organised as part of the Sustainable and Equitable Aquaculture (SEA) in Vietnam project as well as the Food Equity Centre.
