Bushra Saleem

Communications and Impact Officer

Bushra is a Communications and Impact Officer in the Knowledge, Impact, and Policy cluster, specialising in visual communications and design.

Bushra holds an undergraduate degree in architecture and an MA in Design: Spaces and Participation from Goldsmiths, University of London. Before joining IDS, she worked in urban research from a feminist perspective and produced editorial illustrations and infographics for organisations such as the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP), Digital Rights Foundation, Amnesty International, Commonwealth Creative Foundation, and Cities for Children. Their thematic expertise includes cities, gender, and decolonising history in the Global South.
