How to Identify the Trade Impact of China on Small Countries

China’s explosion onto the world trade and trade policy scene is the product of its size, recent dynamic growth and entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO).

The first two factors determine the volume of goods and services being produced and consumed by China, while the third restricts (but does not eliminate) the arbitrary controls that its trade partners can impose in the cause of “orderly trade”
