It is critical that ensuring people’s access to effective treatment for common infections is aligned with efforts to reduce the risk of emerging antimicrobial resistance.

The Institute of Development Studies, a Future Health Systems partner, is influencing policy agendas togive greater focus on the need for the just and sustainable use of antimicrobials.
