Report

Quality of Public Health Services and Household Health Care Decisions in Rural Communes of Vietnam

Published on 1 January 1994

The report describes a systematic household study of health care seeking behaviour and of the quality of commune health care in four rural communes in the north of Vietnam, during 1992-93.

The aim was to identify how the quality of primary health care could be improved and the services made more user friendly in the context of Vietnam’s new found market orientation in health care provision.
