This is a consultancy project for Citizen University, a non-profit organization in Seattle that uses responsive participatory approaches to build citizenship culture in the US. We have been exploring strategies used by civic catalysts in multi-faith/multi-racial democracies around the world. We have been working with civic catalysts from Brazil, Haiti, Kenya, India, Papa New Guinea, Poland, and United Kingdom in a conversation about what matters and what works for them. The final output is expected to provide evidence to help Citizen University expand and deepen their already innovative approach to building civic culture.
