River of Life

Published on 1 January 2024

This fictional River of Life illustrates one family’s journey in the borough of Ealing. Based on research from the Enabling Early Child Development in Ealing (ECDE) project, it shows some common challenges faced by local families, but more importantly, how families felt support should be, in order to ensure all children get the best start in life.

While every family is unique with diverse backgrounds and needs, we hope this tool sparks discussion about how all healing families can be supported whoever they are.
