Critical global challenges as we look to 2021

2020 was year of disruption, with Covid-19 and responses having huge impacts on health, economies and societies everywhere. The pandemic has exposed cracks in the systems and assumptions that underlie conventional models of development, starkly highlighting that we need to do things differently.

So, what can we learn from 2020, to take forward into 2021 and beyond? How can we foster solidarities, for more resilient communities, more equal societies, that are better able to respond to future shocks and uncertainties?

We are sharing some key challenges, thoughts, priorities and opportunities, for 2021 and beyond, towards a more equitable and sustainable world.
