This paper reviews the different ways in which equitable livelihoods within food systems are conceptualised across academic communities, and what interventions are suggested to make food systems livelihoods more equitable. We analyse the tensions and complementarity between these different approaches and suggest an inter- and trans-disciplinary methodology.

How to Use Collaborative Art-Making for Dialogue and Communication

Artists have often used artworks to express emotions and thus prompt public dialogue about contemporary challenges. At the same time, it has been suggested that collaborative art-making can be used in environmental deliberation processes, where stakeholder groups discuss contentious challenges such as the effects of flooding. Policy actors have rarely been deeply involved in these processes.
