Coordination of the Disability Inclusive Development Networks

This project involves the coordination of a cohort of ten research networks that are funded under the AHRC International Networks for Disability Inclusive Global Development. The networks focus on various agendas relating to disability inclusive arts and humanities research. The aim is to explore opportunities for synergies and shared learning and connecting their work with other relevant AHRC research and existing networks.

Within the coordination there are five main workstreams:

  1. Work with AHRC-funded researchers working on disability inclusive development to improve networking and develop opportunities for cross-institutional collaboration.
  2. Develop the research skills capabilities of early career researchers working within the networks.
  3. Identify future research agendas that are focused on disability inclusive arts and humanities research.
  4. Synthesize learnings from across the networks to inform research policy considerations.
  5. Explore avenues for increased impact, engagement, communications and outreach by identifying impact case studies and communications opportunities arising from the portfolio.
